New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 inaugurated the state-of-the-art Banas Dairy Sankul Dairy Complex in Banaskantha, Gujarat.

Prime Minister Modi expressed his pride in the dairy saying it is a hub for empowering local communities.

“Banas Dairy’s development initiatives will empower farmers and boost the rural economy. Here we can find out how the cooperative movement can give strength to the Aatmanirbhar Bharat campaign,” Prime Minister Modi said.

The Prime Minister also today laid the foundation stone for several development projects at Banas Dairy Sankul in Banaskantha.

“The level of development in Gujarat makes every Gujarati proud. I visited Vidya Samiksha Kendra yesterday; the use of technology there is impressive. I urge education departments of other states to visit this center,” said said Prime Minister Modi in Gujarat.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi also expressed his pride in the dairy saying it is a hub for empowering local communities, especially farmers and women. . Taking to Twitter, he shared glimpses of his visit to Dairy in 2016.

“I am glad to visit Banas Dairy again. I last visited the dairy in 2016. At that time, a series of dairy products were launched. I also visited the dairy in 2013. Here is an overview of the two programs,” PM Modi tweeted.

Prime Minister Modi also noted that over the past few years Banas Dairy has become a hub for empowering local communities, especially farmers and women.
