SANAWAD (Madhya Pradesh): BJP Kisan Morcha will organize village-level campaigns to promote organic farming and motivate farmers to keep cows in every household, BJP Kisan Morcha Vice State Chairman Rajendra Singh Rajput said as a guest of a workshop held for farmers under ‘Kisan Mera Gaurav’ at the Sheetla Mata Mandir complex on Monday.
Addressing BJP Kisan Morcha officials, Rajput said that we must try to connect the young farmer to the organization because young farmers will bring innovation in farming and take natural farming to new heights.
He mentioned that an action plan regarding natural agriculture for the whole state has been prepared and in the coming days they will expand the work of Kisan Morcha by appointing the organizer and co-organizer of Kisan Morcha in the villages.
MP Sachin Birla said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have been emphasizing the promotion of natural agriculture. The state government will give nine hundred rupees to cow herders for the breeding of native cows with the aim of promoting natural farming. With this program, while farmers will be encouraged to keep native cows, the problem of stray animals will also be solved.
Cows are essential for natural farming because farmers will only be able to make organic fertilizer if there are cows. The government will appoint five natural farming trainers in each block who will motivate farmers to adopt natural farming and will also pay them an honorarium. The MP said BJP Kisan Morcha officials should appeal to youth associated with agriculture to move towards natural farming, minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and promote farming with new resources techniques.
Meanwhile, BJP District Chairman Kisan Morcha Mahesh Gurjar, Kisan Morcha Mandal Chairman Mohan Malgayan, BJP Rural Mandal Chairman Jai Arora, Bhagwan Patlya, Apaji Birla, Gurudayal Sejgayan, Shyam Birla, Durgaram Chacharia, Premlal Birla, Bhuvani Ram Chaudhary and a large number of party workers were present.
