Next trip to the CAFRE EFS farm

Farmers attending the event will have the opportunity to view the environmental work being done on the CAFRE Enniskillen farm, including hedging, creating woodlots, riparian strips, creating orchards, winter forage crops for birds, annual wildflower margins and pollen and nectar margins as well as discussing all available EFS work.

This event is open to those who already have an EFS convention in place as well as those wishing to apply for EFS membership. It is important to note that participants in Tranche 1 will need to reapply to the program to participate in Tranche 6. Program options and associated investment works will be discussed at the events in an effort to help applicants to make an informed and precise request. . The event will also allow existing EFS candidates to get information and advice on how to maintain the EFS options they already have in place and ensure inspection criteria are met.

With more than 5,500 EFS participants to date, the sixth installment of the expanded program will open for applications at the end of August.

The CAFRE Enniskillen campus will be hosting a farm walk (August 24, 2022) where you can view the environmental work being done on the farm.

Registering for the event is very easy using the Eventbrite link on the CAFRE events page –
