USDA Rural Development Coordinator to Discuss Housing Programs on Hi-Line Reservations – Hi-Line Today

BOZEMAN, Mont. (NMB) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Native American Coordinator for Montana Rural Development will visit the four reservations along the Hi-Line over the next two weeks to discuss their single-family housing and development programs. other initiatives that help rural communities prosper and stimulate economic growth.

On Tuesday April 5 and Wednesday April 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., they will visit the Blackfeet Housing Authority in Browning (1200 SW Boundary St.)

On Thursday, April 7, they will visit the Chippewa Cree Housing Authority in Box Elder from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (75 Laredo Rd.)

On Tuesday, April 12, they will visit the Fort Peck Housing Authority in Poplar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (503 6th Avenue E.)

And on Wednesday, April 13, they will visit the Fort Belknap Reservation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call the Native American Coordinator directly at 406-672-0489 to schedule an appointment.

These meetings are for members of the community who are interested in learning more about USDA Rural Development Single Family Housing Direct Home Loans, Single Family Housing Repair Loans and Grants, and other related programs.
